APTE held Agricultural Brand Release and Signing Ceremony for Investment Projects

On the morning of September 29, the 6th China (Shanxi) Special Agricultural Products Trade Expo (APTE) held the Agricultural Brand Release and Signing Ceremony of Investment Projects. The Vice Governor Wang Cheng attended and witnessed the signing, the leader of provincial department, Deputy Mayor Ding Xueqin also attended the ceremony.
The Expo mainly introduced 142 projects, such as deep processing of agricultural products, animal husbandry breeding, integration of crop farming, breeding and agro processing, integration of three main industries, culture & tourism & health industry ect. All of them were carefully selected and in line with the national development strategy. They also reflected the key development direction of modern agriculture with Shanxi characteristics. So far, the Expo has reached 119 cooperation projects with a total investment of RNB 46.35 billion and the signing amount of RMB 38.59 billion. On the day, 37 projects were signed on-site, including the construction of Qi County Meili Dayi Health New Farm, breeding project of Lingshi County Dongfang Xiwang Pig, construction of Pingyao County Modern Agricultural Industrial Park, the signing amount up to RMB 4.1 billion. Shanxi Agricultural Valley has 8 projects to sign the contract on the spot. Among these enterprises that signed the contract projects with Agricultural Valley are the Pacific Construction Group, which ranks among the top 500 in the world; BGI, a leading provider of life science in the world and leading agricultural enterprises in Shanxi Province. These enterprises will cooperate deeply with Agricultural Valley in upgrading the park and demonstrating the experiment, playing the preponderant resources and social responsibility of leading enterprises in the industry, and helping the development of Shanxi's Agricultural Valley construction.
On the signing ceremony, announced Shanxi Sorghum, Shanxi Buckwheat and Shanxi Potato as the Provincial Agricultural Products Regional Public Brands; Taigu Jujube, Zhangzi Green Pepper, Ji County Apple and other 11 products as the Municipal Agricultural Products Regional Public Brands and “Shajinhong” Apricot Juice, “Taohegu” Black Millet and other 20 products as Shanxi Functional Agricultural Products Brands. Among them, “Heyu” selenium enriched millet from Jinzhong City won the Shanxi Functional Agricultural Products Brand, Taigu Jujube won 2019 Shanxi Municipal Agricultural Products Regional Public Brand.
